Arica in Lima is an exposed reef and point break that has consistent surf. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds are from the northeast. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the southwest. Rarely crowded here. Beware of urchins, rips and rocks.
