Banana Beach in Central Morocco is a fairly exposed river break that has reliable surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Works best in offshore winds from the northeast. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the best swell direction is from the northwest. The river breaks peel to the right. Best around high tide. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Watch out for dangerous rips.
