Beliche in South Portugal is a sheltered beach and point break that has pretty consitent surf. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. Works best in offshore winds from the north. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the northwest.There is a left hand point break here. Best around mid tide.
