Boldro in Fernando De Noronha is an exposed reef break that has dependable surf. Summer offers the favoured conditions for surfing. The best wind direction is from the south southeast. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the ideal swell angle is from the north northwest. There are left and right breaking reefs. Best around mid tide. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Hazards include rips, rocks and sharks.
