Boneyards in Cape Peninsula is an exposed reef break that does not work very often. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Ideal winds are from the east southeast. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the best swell direction is from the west. There are left and right breaking reefs. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Beware of rocks,kelp.
