‘Whitesands Bay: 1-2 ft fairly messy waves today with moderate onshore winds . A few 1 ft waves on sets this morning. Should pick up a bit as the tide comes in with some 2 ft sets later on this afternoon. Generally though fairly messy 1-2 ft waves for most of the day. 2 ft tomorrow, 2 ft Saturday.’
