Cabo Lastres in Asturias is a reasonably exposed point break that usually has waves, although summer tends to be mostly flat. The best wind direction is from the south with some shelter here from east winds. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the best swell direction is from the northwest.Surfers ride left hand point. Best around low tide when the tide is rising. A fairly popluar wave that can sometimes get crowded Take care of rocks in the line up.
