Cabrillo Point in LA County is a sheltered point break that does not work very often. Summer offers the favoured conditions for surfing. Offshore winds blow from the north. Clean groundswells prevail and the best swell direction is from the southwest. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Sometimes crowded. Beware of rocks, locals and pollution.
