Camel Rock in Humboldt is a fairly exposed beach break that has reliable surf. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds are from the east. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the best swell direction is from the west northwest. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves. Best around low tide. A fairly popluar wave that can sometimes get crowded Beware of rocks and sharks.
