Cape Lookout in Oregon_North is an exposed beach reef and point break that has reliable surf. Spring and Summer provide the best conditions. Ideal winds are from the east with some shelter here from north winds. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the west. Waves at the beach are both lefts and rights Surfable at all stages of the tide. It very rarely gets crowded here. Watch out for rips and rocks.
