Ensenada in Lima is a reasonably exposed beach and point break that has quite reliable surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Works best in offshore winds from the east northeast. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the south. Waves at the beach are both lefts and rights and there is a left hand point break as well. Good surf at all stages of the tide. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Watch out for rocks.
