L'Amelie in Acquitaine is an exposed beach break that does not work very often with no particular seasonal pattern. Works best in offshore winds from the east southeast. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the west. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. It very rarely gets crowded here. Dangerous rips are a hazard of surfing here.
