L'Epi Nord in Acquitaine is an exposed beach/pier break that has reliable surf and can work at any time of the year. Offshore winds blow from the east. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the best swell direction is from the west. The beach break favours right handers. Best around low tide. It's sometimes crowded here. Beware of rips / crowds / shorebreak.
