La Ciotat in Provence is a fairly exposed reef break. Autumn and winter are the favoured times of year for waves. Ideal winds are from the west. Waves more likely to be from local windswells than distant groundswells and the best wave direction is from the south. There is no beach break as well as a left hand reef break.. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Take care of rocks in the line up.
