La Passe in Mahe is a fairly exposed reef break that has inconsistent surf with no particular seasonal pattern. Offshore winds blow from the northwest. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the best swell direction is from the south. A reef breaks right. A fairly popluar wave that can sometimes get crowded Submerged rocks are a hazard.
