Lagoinha do Leste in Santa Caterina is an exposed beach break that has quite reliable surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the northwest. Clean groundswells prevail and the ideal swell angle is from the southeast. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. Relatively few surfers here, even on good days. Take care of the strong rips here.
