Ledges in Eleuthera is an exposed point break that has quite reliable surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds blow from the south southwest. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the north.Surfers ride left hand point. Best around mid tide. Relatively few surfers here, even on good days. Hazards include urchins, rocks, sharks and coral.
