Mers in Normandy is a fairly exposed beach break that has pretty consitent surf. The best time of year for waves is autumn. Works best in offshore winds from the southeast. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the best swell direction is from the west. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. Best around high tide. Rarely crowded here.
