Mimizan in Acquitaine is an exposed river/jetty break that has reasonably consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. Ideal winds are from the east. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the best swell direction is from the west. The beach break provides left and right handers. It very rarely gets crowded here.
