Moody Beach in Maine is an exposed beach break that has fairly consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. Works best in offshore winds from the northwest. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the best swell direction is from the southeast. The beach break provides left and right handers. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Hazards include rips and rocks.
