Playa de Montalbo in Galicia is a fairly exposed beach and reef break that has fairly consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. Ideal winds are from the northeast with some shelter here from northwest winds. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the southwest. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves together with both left and right hand reef breaks offshore.. Best around low tide. Sometimes crowded.
