Punta Cabeza Negra in Michoacan is an exposed beach and reef break that has reasonably consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. Works best in offshore winds from the northeast. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the best swell direction is from the southwest. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights together with both left and right hand reef breaks offshore.. Rarely crowded here. Beware of rips and sharks.
