Punta Prieta in Lambayeque is an exposed beach and reef break that is often working. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the northeast. Groundswells are more common than windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the south southwest. A reef breaks left. Relatively few surfers here, even on good days. Take care of rocks in the line up.
