Rags Right in Sumatra (Mentawi Islands) is an exposed reef break that has consistent surf. May-Oct (Dry Season) is the favoured time of year for waves. Ideal winds are from the east. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the southwest. There is a right breaking reef. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Take care of rocks in the line up.
