Rodiles in Asturias is a fairly exposed river break that has reasonably consistent surf. The best time of year for waves is autumn. Offshore winds blow from the southwest with some shelter here from east winds. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the northwest. The river breaks offer lefts and rights. Best around low tide when the tide is rising. Often Crowded. Beware of crowds, rips.
