Saltwater in Far South Australia is an exposed point break that has fairly consistent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Works best in offshore winds from the southwest. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the southeast. Best around mid tide. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Watch out for rocks, rips, sharks,isolated break.

I have surfed this spot many times and found it to rival some of the great right handers along the west coast of Victoria. It's an easy paddle in from the rocks but the wave can pitch and give a scary drop but once your on it's a fast and fun ride and you can work the pocket. The bigger it gets the better it gets, really doesn't start to work properly until it's about 3 -4 foot plus.
