San Onofre in San Diego County is an exposed beach and point break that has consistent surf. Summer offers the optimum conditions for surfing. Ideal winds are from the east northeast. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the southwest. There are left and right breaking reefs Best around low tide.
