Sharkbay in Guayas is an exposed reef and point break that has fairly consistent surf. Autumn and winter are the best times of year for waves. Offshore winds are from the east. Clean groundswells prevail and the ideal swell direction is from the southwest. Best around mid tide when the tide is rising. Sometimes crowded. Watch out for rocks.
