Soumabal Point in Efate is an exposed point break that has inconsistent surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Works best in offshore winds from the north northwest. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the ideal swell direction is from the south.The break here is a left hand point. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Hazards include sharks,coral.
