Tarnos in Acquitaine is an exposed beach/jetty break that has pretty consitent surf and can work at any time of the year. Offshore winds blow from the east with some shelter here from south winds. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the best swell direction is from the west. The beach break offers mainly left hand waves. When it's working here, it can get crowded. Beware of submerged obstacles,crowds.
