Thurso East on the North Coast is an exposed point break that has pretty consitent surf and can work at any time of the year. Offshore winds blow from the southeast. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the best swell direction is from the north northwest. No beach break here Best around mid tide when the tide is rising. When it's working here, it can get crowded. Take care to avoid the rocks.
