Vilas in North Bahia is an exposed beach break that has very consistent surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds blow from the west northwest. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the south. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. Best around high tide. It's sometimes crowded here.
