‘Polzeath Surf Report 8.00: Well not much of a treat for fathers day I’m afraid as the wind has dropped so has the swell, leaving us with a scruffy waist high slop with a very short period. The picture actually flatters the surf conditions this morning, and it is likely to get smaller as the day goes on.’

The ESE swell has dropped more to be in 2-3ft range with the odd bigger one. The winds are very light WNW early and are forecast to go SW all day. Try all along the E facing beaches early on high tide where ever you can find a bank after this weeks swell. Small ones on the points later as the tide drops later this morning

‘Mid-Coast SA: It's bumpy on the Mid this morning with winds 'round to the WSW at 10 knots, but it's also pretty small. Surf is around 1' with the tide heading out until just before 9am. The incoming tide may give it a small lift, but the big arvo tide will kill it by about 2pm.’

7.40am Saturday. Dropping tide and Rest Bay is 3ft+ and blown out with strong onshore winds. Coney Beach has a little more shape at about 2ft but still not pretty. Low tide everywhere will be pretty horrendous - Best bet for any kind of surf will be Coney Beach later this afternoon which should give us 3-4ft and surfable towards high tide.
