Nam O Point in Da Nang is an exposed beach/Jetty break that has reliable surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Ideal winds are from the west southwest with some shelter here from northeast winds. Waves more likely to be from local windswells than distant groundswells and the ideal wave angle is from the northeast. The beach breaks favour lefts. It's sometimes crowded here. Surfing here means negotiating dangerous rips.
