Playa de Laida in Pais Vasco is a quite exposed river break that has pretty consitent surf. Summer offers the best conditions for surfing. The best wind direction is from the south southeast. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the northwest. Waves at the river are both lefts and rights. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Watch out for dangerous rips.
