Ackergill Surf Guide
Ackergill on the East Coast is an exposed reef break that has inconsistent surf. Summer in particular tends to be flat. Offshore winds blow from the west. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the ideal swell direction is from the north. A right hand reef. Best around high tide. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Rocks are a hazard.
