Barmouth Surf Guide
Barmouth in Mid Wales is a fairly exposed beach break that has quite consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. Ideal winds are from the northeast. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the best swell direction is from the southwest. Waves at the beach are both lefts and rights. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Rarely crowded here. Surfing here means negotiating dangerous rips.
