Belvedere Surf Guide
Belvedere in West Coast of Italy is an exposed sandbar break that has quite reliable surf. Autumn and winter are the optimum times of year for waves. Works best in offshore winds from the north with some shelter here from east winds. Windswells are much more typical than groudswells and the ideal wave direction is from the southwest. The sandbar break provides left and right handers. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Relatively few surfers here, even on good days. The water quality here is rather suspect.
