Bolivar Surf Guide
Bolivar in Texas is an exposed sandbar break that has pretty consitent surf. The best conditions for surfing are during the hurricane season. Ideal winds are from the north northwest. Windswells are much more common than groundswells and the ideal wave angle is from the southeast. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Hazards include urchins, rips, pollution and sharks.
