Cahuil Surf Guide
Cahuil in Santiago is an exposed river break. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the east northeast and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Easily blown out by onshore winds Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the southwest. The river breaks offer left-handers and there is a left hand reef break as well. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Rocks are a hazard.
