Calita in Valencia is an exposed reef break that only works when conditions are just right. Summer in particular tends to be flat. Offshore winds are from the north and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Most of the surf comes fis in the form of windswells and the ideal wave angle is from the east southeast. No reef break here. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Sometimes crowded. Submerged rocks are a hazard.
