Works best in offshore winds from the east northeast and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the best swell direction is from the west. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights and in addition there are both left and right reef breaks. An uncrowded break, even when it is working.
