Offshore winds are from the northwest and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Able to handle light onshore wind Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the best swell direction is from the southeast. The beach break offers mainly right hand waves and there are also left and right hand reef breaks on offer. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Rarely crowded here. Watch out for rips, rocks, seals.
