Grotta Surf Guide
Grotta in Reykjanes Peninsula is an exposed reef break that has pretty consitent surf and can work at any time of the year. Offshore winds blow from the east and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the best swell direction is from the west. There is no reef break. Crowds are never a problem here. Take care of the strong rips here.
