Kaiaua Bay Surf Guide
Kaiaua Bay in East Cape is an exposed beach break that has consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. Offshore winds blow from the west northwest and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the best swell direction is from the east. Waves at the beach are both lefts and rights. Good surf at all stages of the tide. A remote wave spot that never gets crowded. Beware of rips and rocks.
