Ko Samui in Gulf of Thailand is an exposed beach break that has inconsistent surf. Nov-April (Wet Season) provides optimum time of year for waves. Offshore winds are from the west northwest. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the east southeast. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Dangerous rips are a hazard of surfing here.
