L'Hermitage in Cote d'Azur is an exposed beach and reef break that only works once in a while. Summer in particular tends to be flat. The best wind direction is from the north. Waves more likely to be from local windswells than distant groundswells and the best wave direction is from the south. The beach break provides left and right handers and there are also left and right hand reef breaks on offer. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Sometimes crowded. Hazards include rocks, urchins.
