Las Cucharas (Costa Teguise) Surf Guide
Las Cucharas (Costa Teguise) in Lanzarote is a fairly exposed beach and reef break that has inconsistent surf. Summer in particular tends to be flat. Works best in offshore winds from the northwest with some shelter here from north winds. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the northeast. The beach breaks peel to the left as well as a left hand reef break. It's sometimes crowded here. Take care to avoid the rocks.
