Waves more likely to be from local windswells than distant groundswells and the optimum wave angle is from the east southeast. The beach break provides left and right handers as well as right and left (best) hand reef breaks. Good surf at all stages of the tide. A popular wave that can get growded. Beware of rocks, rips, crowds.
