Offshore winds are from the west northwest with some shelter here from west winds. Waves more likely to be from local windswells than distant groundswells and the optimum wave angle is from the southeast. Waves at the beach are both lefts and rights. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. When it's working here, it can get crowded. Hazards include rips, rocks.
